Tyler "Ninja" Blevins is an American full-time Fortnite streamer.


The channel Ninja was created on January 15th, 2011. His first live moment can be seen on a video on his Twitch channel[1].



Tyler "Ninja" Blevins was born on June 5th, 1991 in Detroit, Michigan and currently resides in Chicago, Illinois. He is one of the biggest Twitch streamers and Youtubers since the release of Fortnite in 2017. Ninja’s outgoing personality and extraordinary in game skills have led him to become a Twitch icon. Ninja is currently 28 years old, has a height of 6 ft 1 inch and has an estimated net worth of $10 Million.


Ninja and his family moved to Illinois when Blevins was 1 year old and has lived there the rest of his life. In his youth Ninja got his love of video games from his father who would regularly play Sega. He has always been extremely good at video games and would often beat his brothers, Jonathan and Chris, in every game. Throughout high school Ninja also enjoyed playing soccer while trying his best in every video game he played. Blevins got his username “Ninja” from an old Halo move where you would outsmart your opponent by jumping over their head and backsmacking them. Furthermore, Ninja’s streaming career began in January of 2011 when Blevins was in college. Later that year he would be signed by UoR Invictus to be a professional Halo player.

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins played for several teams throughout his six-year career but found the most success when Fortnite launched in 2017. With the immense popularity of Fortnite, Ninja's entertaining channel exploded on Twitch and his followers grew by 250% from September 2017 to February 2018. Furthermore, Ninja has set multiple twitch viewership records including his streams with Drake and JuJu Smith-Schuster and the Ninja Vegas 2018 Event. He also competed in the 2018 Celebrity Fortnite Pro-Am Tournament alongside Marshmello which he would go onto win. Lastly, Ninja was the first Esports player to appear on the cover of ESPN magazine in September 2018. [2] On August 1st, 2019, in an unexpected move, Ninja announced that he was moving his streams to Mixer, Microsoft's streaming platform, a twitch rival.[3]

Personal Life

Ninja married his wife Jess in August 2017, Ninja and Jess meet at a Halo tournament in December 2010. The couple now live in Chicago, Illinois.
