Timothy "TimTheTatman" Betar is a full-time American variety streamer.

The channel TimTheTatman was created on October 8th, 2010. His first live moment can be seen on a video on his Twitch channel[1].

TimTheTatman was born on April 8th, 1990 in Syracuse, New York. Tim’s funny and engaging personality has garnered him many followers and helped him become one of Twitch’s biggest streamers.

Growing up a single child in Syracuse, New York, TimTheTatman always loved video games. His mother was an alcoholic and it would eventually take her life when Tim was only 15. Betar’s father disapproved of his video game habit and hoped he’d focus more on his studies. However, Tim would eventually move in with his childhood best friend and fellow Twitch streamer ActionJaxon. The two would spend most of their free time playing Classic World of Warcraft which according to Tim is his favorite game. He would eventually meet his future wife in high school who was very supportive of his WoW addiction.

TimTheTatman’s streaming career began in 2012 when he primarily played Call of Duty: Black Ops II. However, Tim wouldn’t become popular on Twitch until he switched over to CS:GO which would become his prominent game for two years. After finding success with CS:GO Tim would eventually switch his main game again when Overwatch came out in 2016. TimTheTatman would flex whenever playing Overwatch and his main heroes were McCree, Roadhog and Ana. After becoming annoyed with getting constant throwers and stream snipers in his games he decided to step away from Overwatch [2]. Tim would switch over to Fortnite which would become his new main game. His channel found its most success after switching over to Fortnite and is often found streaming alongside Ninja and DrLupo. Tim is known as the "wildcard" in Fortnite for his ability to play like a god and a bot in the same game.

Personal Life

TimTheTatman would marry his high school sweetheart, Alexis, in August of 2016. The happy couple welcomed their first child, Brewer, on April 11, 2019. Tim is a very religious man who takes Sundays off so he can go to church and spend time with his family.
