Timo "Taimou" Kettunen is a Finnish Overwatch Twitch streamer who is currently a professional Overwatch player for Dallas Fuel.

The channel taimoutv was created on January 7th, 2014. His earliest live moment can be seen on a video on his Twitch channel[1].

Taimou was born on August 30, 1993 in Juankoski, Finland. His aggressive and dominant playstyle has netted him a healthy Twitch following and he has become a legend in the Overwatch scene.

Timo’s love for video games originates from Doom II, a game he played at the age of 2. He learned about playing video games professionally through the Korean Starcraft scene and decided becoming a pro gamer would be his dream. When Overwatch was in closed beta Taimou landed himself a spot on k1ck eSports but the team had lackluster results. He eventually left the team after Overwatch’s closed beta and joined the team IDDQD. The team consisted of many future team Envyus players including HarryHook, chipshajen and INTERNETHULK. In early 2016 IDDQD would be bought by the Esports organization Envyus and the new team performed exceptionally well. They had a 61% win rate for all the tournaments they attended and they were considered the best team in the west before attending the OGN Overwatch APEX Season 1 tournament. Taimou and the rest of Team Envyus won APEX Season 1 and they were one of the first western teams to beat the Koreans.

On September 20th, 2017 Envyus announced that they would become the Dallas Fuel in the inaugural season of the Overwatch League. In the first season of Overwatch League, the Fuel and Taimou had a tough time against their competition. Taimou was feeling insecure about his gameplay and he ultimately underperformed. However, during the fourth stage of the Overwatch League a new coach, Aero, led Taimou and the Fuel to their first stage playoffs. Taimou regained his confidence and began to pop off on Widowmaker again. He showed everyone that he was still one of the best hitscan players in the game. With hitscan DPS being out of the meta in the second season of the Overwatch League Taimou hasn’t seen much playtime this year. He still streams whenever he has time and continues the daily grind of being a professional Overwatch player.

Personal Life

Not much is known about Taimou’s personal life. He had a girlfriend in 2018 but it is unknown if they are still together.
