Richard "KingRichard" Nelson is a full-time American variety Twitch streamer.

The channel KingRichard was created on July 19th, 2014. His earliest live moment can be seen on a video on his Twitch channel[1].

KingRichard was born on January 11th, 1989 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Richard’s entertaining and chill personality helped him gain a healthy following on his Twitch channel.

KingRichard’s streaming career begins with the game Elder Scrolls Online and he would participate in tournaments for ESO as well. However, it wasn’t until he switched over to Fortnite that he became a well-known Twitch streamer. KingRichard showed off his impressive skills in Fortnite on his stream and often played with Ninja in the early days of Fortnite. The two competed in many of Keemstar’s Fortnite Fridays together and it gave both of them an opportunity to prove their skill which helped grow their twitch channels. KingRichard has also tackled a few controversies as well with him being banned from Twitch in 2018 for broadcasting an NFL game on his channel. Another recent controversy he faced was that it came out that he failed to pay a designer who helped him redesign his Twitch channel. KingRichard has also become a professional Apex player with NRG Esports signing him in October 2018. Since becoming a pro Apex player, he has been able to manage his Esports career and his Twitch channel where he regularly streams both Fortnite and Apex.
