Sanguine Esports is a North American eSports organization that has a European SMITE team.

Season 3

The story of Sanguine Esports starts in May of 2016 in the North American Challenger Scene. Considered, at the time, to be one of the strongest teams going into the Challenger cup after winning first place in both the Spring Season and the Spring Playoffs the future looked bright for the organization. But every happy story must have some sort of conflict, and such a conflict arose before they were to compete in Fall Relegations. The roster of Sanguine Esports was picked up by Most Wanted eSports and thus the dream had died... in North America at least.

In week 2 of the SPL Fall Season, an EU team by the name of Team Leftovers was picked up by Sanguine and though they seemed to show promise they, of course, had some problems during their opening split. And yet again problems arose during the Placement Stages leading to them being placed in Group A, one of the weakest groups by general hearsay.

ALAS, once the group stages actually began the Sanguine roster began to show promise once more. They proved that they could play with the big boys of Team Dignitas and Orbit eSports within their group. They caught everyone off guard by getting second place in their group which was third overall in the placements, and qualifying for the Regional Championship.

Sadly their region was tough and despite the wonderful fight they put up they lost to NRG Esports in a 0-3 sweep during their qualifying match and went on to lose 4 of their games in the NA/EU Wildcard. Soon after, Cherryo and Murrdurr announced they were leaving the team. And soon after that there seemed to be another wave of departures this time from Nika, who said that he and TheDarkDodo were kicked off the team so that Arkkyl could build one himself.
