Kevin "Adanas" Meier is an American SMITE personality. He is a commentator for Hi-Rez Studios.

Biography

Adanas started playing videogames at a young age with his father's NES (Super Mario Brothers 1-3 mostly), and then moving onto PlayStation 1 and 2 games. His first major PC game was Runescape, followed by the likes of GunZ: The Duel (which he played competitively), World of Warcraft, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and then finally SMITE.

Pre-Season 1

He started playing competitively with friends he met on SMITE through WOGL, the first SMITE league. They formed the team Explicit but had little success. Later on, PainDeViande picked Adanas up as the support for VexX Gaming roster.

After later leaving Reason Gaming, he casted for SmiteCentral and streamed on SmitePro. Hi-Rez Studios then approached him to work in production during the SMITE Launch Tournament, and they were impressed with the effort he put forth and he was asked to do contract work for the start of the SPL Kick Off LAN Qualifiers. After a few weeks, he was offered a full-time position as Production Assistant.

Season 2

When during Season 2 there were talks of needing new casters, Adanas expressed his interest having done it a year before. After a few weeks of practice, he officially joined the casting team at the start of the Summer Split.

Trivia

  • His nickname was created by a World of Warcraft random name generator
  • He studies business at school
