Vortex is a North American team.

History

Vortex was formed in June 2015 when Final Five rebranded prior to the start of the 2015 NACS Summer Season.[1] Prior to the start of the season, support player Gleeb retired and OCE jungler Shernfire was banned for Elo boosting.[2] Vortex's roster for the first week of the NACS season included top laner Wizardry, jungler Chau, mid laner Gate, AD carry Veritas, and support heavenTime. Immediately afterward, the roster was thrust into disorder as Gate departed the team for Coast while the team started different players in every position except AD carry. Mid laner Bischu and top laner BillyBoss joined Vortex in the second week and stayed for the remainder of the season, but jungler and support positions fluctuated further. Jungler k0u and support Saskio did not secure their positions until the third and fourth week of the split, respectively, replacing temporary substitutes Plex in the jungle, and Matt and Biofrost as support. Vortex finished in fifth place, ahead of Winterfox and behind Cloud9 Tempest, with a 2-8 record.
