To-Do List/Tournament Example
|Overview||Picks & Bans||Team Rosters||Qualifiers||VODs|
For some tournament series, navboxes have been created to help a user navigate throughout all the tournaments. If so, add the relevant navbox to the top of the page and make sure that it is listed.
|Prize Pool||$ 1|
For the overview, you should mention who sponsors the event, who organized it, where it took place, and how teams came to compete in it(invited or qualified). You can also mention the prizepool and give a brief explanation of the tournament format.
Make a bulleted list of the event's format, giving as much detail as possible. When listed numbers, type out the full work instead of using the number (for example, put "Best of three" instead of "Bo3")
- Single Elimination bracket
- All matches are best of three
If a tournament has an international team mixture, you may convert the prizepool from what is listed to other currencies. For example, if European teams compete in a North American event, make another column and list the approximate value in Euros.
1 US Dollar is spread among the teams as seen below:
If teams come from multiple regions, separate them by region. Otherwise, separate them by how they earned a spot(qualified or invited)
|North America (4)||Europe (4)|
|Dignitas||against All authority|
|Epik Gamer||SK Gaming|
|Counter Logic Gaming||FnaticRC|
|v8 Esports||Absolute Legends|
Make sections for all major portions of the main tournament(Group stages and brackets). Any pre-event qualifiers should have a separate page and have a tab added at the top. For a list of all brackets, see Brackets category. If a tournament requires a bracket that is not listed, contact an administrator to have one set up.
For large offline events, a schedule may be added. This is mostly to be added for upcoming, but is optional to be added to tournaments that have already concluded, purely for the conservation of information. For events that have already happened, it is not necessary to add a schedule, but you may still add a schedule if you wish.
|Ro8||Curse Gaming vs. TSM Evo||11:00||14:00||20:00||03:00|
|Ro8||Team SoloMid vs. mMe Ferus||14:30||17:30||23:30||06:30|
List the stream(s) the games were on, give a link to the general site where vods are(youtube,organization's site, etc). Individual VOD links are done of the VODs tab at the top.
If there is a large number of interviews and coverage articles, use the Template:Box to separate them into two columns.
List any interviews with players, teams, or people that relate directly to the event. For offline events, list any interviews that took place at the event. The interviews should be formatted as follows:
* [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62hU9BWKqGY Pluto Interviews Salce (video)] ''with Reign of Gaming''
If the interview title mentions the event name, you can remove it.
Make a bulleted list of coverage provided by sites. You should mainly try to list event previews and wrapups. Recaps of individual games are optional. Coverage should be formatted as follows:
* [http://www.in2lol.com/en/news/3960 in2LOL PAX Preview]
List any Leaguepedia pages that may be relevant. For example, if a team organizes an invitational, this section should have a link to that team's page.
A bulleted list of any external links that are relevant to the tournament. These could include links to information about the tournament, the organizers, or the venue.
As long as <references /> is added to this section, it will require no other work. If anything on the page is referenced, it will automatically be listed here. Be sure to put a reference in the following format:
