Spirit" (Real Name: Lee Da-yoon (이다윤)) is a Korean League of Legends player, currently a Jungler for
Afreeca Freecs.
Biography
Spirit was born on July 1, 1996 in South Korea. He is a professional League of Legends gamer and is highly sought-after for his excellent Jungle skills. With the reputation of being a confident carry jungler, Spirit's play style is aggressive and likes to be actively involved in every game.
Career History
2013-2014
Spirit first joined the Korean League of Legends team Samsung Galaxy Blue, former MVP Blue, in June 2013. During his time at Samsung Galaxy Blue, he and his team participated in the top-level OnGameNet tournaments and even took the first place in OGN Spring 2014. However during the 2014 Season World Championship, Samsung Galaxy Blue lost the semifinals against their sister team, Samsung Galaxy White.
In November 2014, Spirit left his team and moved to Shanghai, China to join Team WE, which is China's first eSports club. Team WE was invited to participate IEM Season IX -World Championship after earning 1st place at IEM Season IX - Shenzen. The team ended second place in IEM Season IX -World Championship, losing against Team Solomid. Near the end of the season, Team WE was qualified to compete in the 2016 LPL Spring Season and played against Unlimited Potential.
2016
At the start of season 6, November 2015, Spirit announced his departure from Team WE to join Fnatic, which were voted to participate in IEM Season X in Cologne, Germany. Spirit, alongside with Gamsu and Noxiak were the new members, joining the existing Fnatic members Febiven and Rekkles. The team had struggles in the beginning to find the right synergy and eventually replaced Noxiak by Klaj. Fnatic finished 3rd in the EU LCS Spring split of season 6.
In Summer, Spirit and Fnatic ended the round robin stage at 5th and the playoffs at 5th-6th, as they lost to H2k-Gaming (0-3) in the Quarterfinals. At the end of the split, Spirit parted ways with Fnatic. He then signed with Afreeca Freecs, as the team's starting Jungler for 2017 Spring.
