Eefje "sjokz" Depoortere is currently the host for League of Legends European Championship in Berlin, Germany.

sjokz was born on June 16, 1987 in Belgium. She got into gaming playing iCTF in Unreal Tournament '99, where she competed in several LANs, even winning the Eurocup with the Belgian national team a couple of times. Sjokz found a way into the League of Legends scene through an SK/ESFI World ad looking for a "League of Legends editor." She worked as part of The Summoners Recap, one of the first shows associated with League of Legends.

Working as a contractor during the 2013 and 2014 EU LCS seasons in Cologne, she left ESL and signed with Riot in order to continue hosting the EU LCS when the league moved to Berlin.[1]

In the international scene, she hosted the 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2018 World Championships, as well as the 2015 and 2018 Mid-Season Invitationals. She currently resides in Berlin, now hosting the League of Legends European Championship since 2019.
