"ShorterACE" (Real Name: Ryan Nget) is an American LoL player.

Biography

Ryan "ShorterACE" Nget is from Snohomish, Washington in the United States. In elementary school, he played StarCraft:Brood War and eventually switched to Warcraft 3. He has been playing League of Legends since the closed beta.

2014 Season

ShorterACE's first notable team was COGnitive Gaming, where he jungled from July 2014 to October 2014, including a quarterfinal finish in the NACS Summer Split #2 in 2014.

2015 Preseason

ShorterACE is currently the jungler for Final Five, a team that qualified for the North American Spring Expansion Tournament via the ranked 5's ladder. In the online portion of the tournament, they defeated Zenith eSports 2-1 and then CompLexity.Black 2-0 and qualified for the offline stage along with Team Fusion, Team Coast, and Curse Academy.

Going into the offline stage as underdogs, Final Five surprised by taking Team Fusion to five games, though they did ultimately lose the series, moving to the loser's bracket. There they faced Team Coast and were eliminated, this time losing 1-3.

On December 29th, Final Five issued a statement announcing in part that ShorterACE was no longer going to be a part of their starting lineup due to external commitments including school.[1][2]

2015 Season

ShorterACE joined Winterfox as a substitute player in early January and then a few days later joined BrawL.NA as their starting jungler. BrawL.NA, without Alex Ich playing for them, lost to Darkness in the first round of the NACS 2015 Spring Qualifier and were eliminated from the tournament. ShorterACE substituted for Helios in the first week of the NA LCS Spring Split; Winterfox went 1-1.

In early February, ShorterACE left BrawL.NA, stating that he wanted to develop individually as a player for some time instead of holding back teammates due to his needing to spend a significant amount of time on school.[3] After a brief stint on Dadslammers to play in League One, ShorterACE joined Elomingle, the team previously known as TSM Darkness, in April. In May, he became a starter for Winterfox to play in the NACS Summer Season.[4] ShorterACE played in all but one of Winterfox's games (Moon started in the other). The team finished in last place in the round robin, with a 1-9 record.
