"Cody Sun" (Real Name: Li Yu Sun) is a Chinese League of Legends player, currently an ADC for Clutch Gaming Academy.

He was formerly known as TM8 and Massacre.

Cody Sun first appeared in the pro scene in the middle of 2015, joining Magnetic. He would move around on NA Challenger teams before joining Immortals for the 2017 season. Initially a very inexperienced player, Cody Sun's first split was filled inconsistency and mistakes. However that wasn't enough to discourage him and he was able to improve himself into a solid and more stable player. Immortals was able to reach the Summer Split finals but lost to Team SoloMid. Despite their defeat the team qualified for the World Championship but was knocked out in the Group Stage.

After Immortals wasn't accepted in the newly franchised NA LCS, Cody Sun joined the new organization 100 Thieves. In the Spring Split of 2018, 100 Thieves reached the finals in large part thanks to Cody Sun and Aphromoo's consistency in the bottom lane. They however lost to Team Liquid and Cody Sun continues to chase after his first NA LCS title.

Career History

Cody Sun joined Magnetic in May 2015 and qualified for the NACS Summer Season, losing to Misfits and then beating CLG Black in the qualifier. Prior to the start of the season, the team renamed to Team Imagine. Massacre played with Imagine for the first two weeks of the season before the entire roster was replaced.

Massacre played with Team Frostbite in the NACS Open Qualifier and main qualifier, but the team failed to make the Spring Season. After week 1 of the NACS, he joined Dream Team, who had successfully qualified. Dream Team finished the season in fifth place, losing an automatic tiebreaker with Team Liquid Academy due to head-to-head record. They missed out on the playoffs but received higher seeding for the summer qualifier due to finishing ahead of Enemy.
