The eighth online Halo World Championship 2016 LATAM qualifying tournament took place on January 30th, 2016 and was exclusive to teams located in Mexico. Halo 5 was played in a 4v4 tournament. Despite Fractal Knights winning the tournament, they were disqualified from the Regional Finals for an unknown reason. 2nd place finishers Genios Malvados qualified in their place.
