Darkest Hour is a defunct professional Halo team. Its most prominent member is Lee "TwYLighT" Santos.

Halo 3

Darkest Hour was formed at the beginning of the 2009 MLG season by Lee "TwYLighT" Santos, "ArtOfWar", "CallMeGod" and "Frosty". This lineup placed 16th at MLG Meadowlands 2009. TwYLighT and Frosty then teamed up with "Frywod" and "GregoR" for MLG Columbus 2009, where they placed 23rd. TwYLighT then put the Darkest Hour name on hold for two events as he left to join Under The Influence, but brought it back for the 2009 MLG Orlando National Championships, where they placed 12th with a roster of TwYLighT, Greg "TalenT" Doyle, Anthony "AnT" Roberts and Christopher "Batmayne" Stephens.

TwYLighT brought Darkest Hour back for the 2010 season with a retooled lineup of himself, AnT, Carlos "Cpt Anarchy" Morales and Sean "Legend" Hinsinger. This lineup took 7th at MLG Orlando 2010 and 16th at MLG Columbus 2010. Cpt Anarchy and AnT were then replaced by Faisal "Goofy" Khan and Ryan "arealygoodnoob" Geddes. This lineup again placed 16th, so Legend was replaced by a returning Batmayne. This lineup took 4th place at MLG Washington, D.C. 2010, but failed to qualify for the National Championships.

Halo Reach

After failing to qualify for the Halo 3 Nationals, Darkest Hour competed in the Halo: Reach exhibition at the MLG Dallas Championships 2010, where they placed 4th with a roster of TwYLighT, Goofy, Mike "Russo" Russo and Octavio "Scarvayne" Soto. Darkest Hour then attended MLG Dallas 2011 with an all-star roster of TwYLighT, Goofy, Brian "Legit" Rizzo and Brett "Naded" Leonard, but they placed only 16th. TwYLighT then retired the Darkest Hour name.

Halo 2: Anniversary

Former member Frosty resurrected the name for the PAX Prime Showdown 2014, teaming with Coby "Cobys2Fast" Yamauchi, Marcus "Elumnite" Lovejoy and "Wolfmaynee". They placed 6th out of 8 invited teams.
