The 2018 College League of Legends is Riot Game's newest collegiate League of Legends tournament. Collegiate clubs across North America will compete for scholarships and the title of National Champion.

Prize Pool

Scholarships are spread among the teams as follows:

How To Get Involved

Only registered League of Legends student clubs are allowed to compete. If you’re already a member of a League of Legends club, talk with your club officers about playing in the 2018 season. Riot will be contacting official club officers with information on how to register their teams.

College Structure

Officially recognized and registered college League of Legends clubs will be divided into 4 conferences. (North, South, East and West)

  • Format: 6 rounds of Swiss for each conference.
    • All matches are Bo3
  • Dates: Jan. 15 - Feb. 25
  • Results: 6-0 and 5-1 teams advance from each regional conference
  • Number of teams: 8
  • Format: 3-round single elimination bracket for each conference
    • All matches are Bo5
  • Dates: Feb. 26 - Apr. 8
  • Results: 1st in each regional conference advances to the College Championship
    • 2nd place from each conference advances to the Championship Play-In.
  • Number of teams: ??
  • Format: Teams are split into two round robin groups.
    • All matches are Bo3
  • Dates: Apr. 9 - 22
  • Results: Top two teams from each group advance to the College Championship
  • Number of teams: ??
  • Format: Single elimination tournament
  • Dates: Sometime between Conference Playoffs and College Championship
  • Location: Online
  • Prizes: RP

  • Format: Single elimination tournament
    • Quarterfinals are Bo3; Semifinals and Finals are Bo5
