The MLG CoD League Season 2 will be a predominately online event starting on April 19th, 2014. It will be the 2nd installment of MLG's new league system following MLG Pro Circuit Season 1. This time around the event was expanded to 12 teams in the league as well as qualification for MLG Anaheim and a shot at $70,000. This was also the first time that MLG included a draft for substitute players.
- Separated into regular season and playoff bracket(MLG Anaheim)
- 12 Teams
- Each team plays the other teams 4 times. Total of 44 Games
- Each team will be considered "Home" for 22 games and "Away" for 22 games
- All games are a best of 5
- Top 8 qualify for Anaheim Championship bracket and Season 3
- Bottom 4 go into the Open Bracket at Anaheim
The 3 game modes being played will consist of Domination, Search & Destroy, and Blitz. The maps for each game mode are as follows:

There will be no monetary prize for the league, however the top 8 teams will qualify for Season 3 as well as earn a spot in the Championship bracket at Anaheim where they will compete for $70,000.

This was the first ever draft for in Call of Duty. These players will be used as substitutes in case any player can't make it for one of the matches. To be eligible for the draft the players had to be ranked in the top 250 in Pro Points. For the 4th round, MLG lifted this rule and allowed anyone to be drafted.
Regular Season Standings
The top 8 teams will earn a spot in the Championship Bracket at MLG Anaheim meanwhile the bottom 4 will drop to the Open Bracket and have to fight to keep their spot in Season 3.
