Jordan "JKap" Kaplan is a veteran professional Call of Duty player, who is currently playing for OpTic Gaming Los Angeles.

Starting Out

JKap started playing the Call of Duty series back in 2008 on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. JKap is regarded as one of the best Call of Duty players of all time.

Modern Warfare 2

JKap joined Xtravagant during Modern Warfare 2. During his time with them, he got 2nd at the MLG Online National Championship and 3rd place at the MLG National Championship 2010.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Once Black Ops came out, JKap was on IGC Pro. He got 4th place with them at MLG $25K. After that, he ended up joining OpTic Gaming. He found success with them by winning 2 championships during his run in Black Ops where he was regarded as one of the best overall players. At MLG Dallas, OpTic got 3rd place. Then after that, at MLG Columbus, OpTic got 1st place. The next two tournaments, OpTic placed 2nd and then 3rd. At MLG Orlando, OpTic took home another championship. Then they ended up taking 3rd at the final tournament.

Black Ops 2

After his time on OpTic, JKap joined EnVyUs. His time on EnVyUs was very good. They were consistently placing on the top 5 before taking home a championship at UGC Niagara. After Niagara, they fell off a little bit by placing outside the top 8 at two consecutive events. Once OpTic Gaming dropped MerK from their roster, JKap went back to OpTic joining teammates BigTymeR, Scumpii and NaDeSHoT. The team looked very good online but failed to properly deliver on LAN. They placed a disappointing 9th place at Gfinity 2. Then after, they placed 2nd at an invite only MLG Fall Invitational hosting 4 teams.

Call of Duty: Ghosts

When Call of Duty: Ghosts came out, JKap and his team placed a highly discouraging 13th place at MLG Fall Championship. It wasn't until after the event that JKap would be dropped and joined FaZe. His time on FaZe would soon prove to be very unfruitful by not placing in the top 5 at any of the events. Once both teams of FaZe (FaZe Red and FaZe Black) got removed and FaZe just stuck with one team, JKap was without a team. However though, it didn't take much time for him to find another one and join back up with his old team EnVyUs. EnVyUs' new roster consisting of JKap, MerK, NameLeSs and FormaL had everybody very excited to see how well they could place. They didn't disappoint because they placed 1st at Gfinity 3 by crushing the competition. With fans extremely eager to see how well they could do at UMG Dallas, EnVy had a lot of momentum heading into that tournament. However, they failed to take home 1st by getting beat by Denial in the finals.

  • JKap's favorite gaming moment was winning the Call of Duty World Championship in 2015 with Denial eSports.
  • He is known for his constant "YY'ing"
  • JKap used marathon on his Famas during Call of Duty: Black Ops, redefining the support role, allowing him to slay and run objectives.
