The 2020 Call of Duty League (CDL 2020) is the first season a franchised professional Call of Duty league, operated by Activision Blizzard and MLG.

History

After months of speculations and discussions, the Call of Duty League was officially announced on October 10, 2019, following the release of a promotional video on Twitter, highlighting the 12 participating cities/regions.[1]
